Hi, I’m Suvi.

I am an MSW level Registered Social Worker (RSW) in both BC (BC College of Social Workers) and Alberta (Alberta College of Social Workers). More than that, however, I am human, and I have needed other people to share life’s journey with me in all its hope and hurt, awe and agony, wonder and wisdom. My life experiences led me here and my 25+ years of experience in social work and clinical fields have provided me with a deep understanding of the personal and professional toll we pay when we work in helping professions. My experience has allowed me to walk alongside helping professionals and others, supporting them as they gather their existing innate wisdom to face the challenges that are presented along life’s journey.

I am a curious confidante, an energetic cheerleader and a reflective, empathetic witness to your experience.

Aside from this, I am a leader, and as uncomfortable as that made me for much of my life and career, I have come to respect and honour the gift of leadership that lives within me. This gift has led me to working in and with organizations that are seeking transformational change, specifically when it pertains to the way those organizations help others and emotionally provide for the staff entrusted to their care. These experiences have led me to develop training related to professional resilience, reflective practice, reflective supervision, and trauma informed practice.

My passion is accompanying people and organizations as they do the hard work of being human and whole, and work to become and remain the best versions of themselves. These are the versions that make the world better.
